Designed in honor of the president
of Cornell University, this highly competitive program
aims to bring the nation's most academically gifted students
to Cornell, one of the greatest research universities
in the world.
Open to all students across all academic disciplines,
the CPRS program offers each student an opportunity to
work with a faculty mentor. Together they design and plan
an individualized program of faculty-directed research.
Other program benefits include up to $10,000 in a research
support account, that may be used for wages, research-related
travel, limited supplies, and summer research expenses.
In addition, students may receive up to $4,000 per year
in loan replacement. Research Scholars participate in
a variety of academic and social activities including
freshman colloquium, research in progress forums and the
senior poster session; as well as events with the other
Cornell Commitment programs. |
