CPRS, the Cornell Presidential Research Scholars, is a wonderful program that I belong to which provides me with a nice yearly scholarship, as well as a $10,000 research expense account! I can use the money for traveling to science conferences, for supplies and even wages for hourly research work. CPRS has provided me with many unique opportunities, such as meeting Noble Peace Prize winner Jody Foster and interviewing candidates for the Cornell Commitment Assistant Director position. I am currently a member of the Student Advisory Board (SAB) which plans CPRS events and helps orient new members. I am also the webmaster; I recently reorganized and remade the entire website. You may notice that the design of the CPRS site is very similar to this one, so I must confess to plagiarizing my own design from this site when i created that one.
